Dr. Ruchi Vaidya and Ms. Sneha Sewa, as part of the ABC Gut Health Study visited the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong as part of the 11th International Conference on Fermented Foods, Health Status and Social well being organized by Swedish South Asian Network on Fermented foods and NEHU.
Ms. Sneha presented her poster on "Fecal Short Chain Fatty Acid levels in rural Indian adults with prediabetes" which was very well received by stalwarts in the field. Dr. Ruchi Vaidya bagged the Best Oral Presentation Award for her presentation titled, 'Dietary choices, Gut Microbiota and SCFA levels in Prediabetic Adults' presented as part of the ABC study itself.
