I got the opportunity to work under the ACE-ME project, which helped to visit various villages of rural Bengaluru and to closely watch the understanding of people regarding health, and their necessities. Through this, program I was able to understand the difference between planning and implementation of the program, where practical barriers delay the work, and where we need to come up with immediate and feasible keys to handle it.
I had the opportunity to be a part of the baseline assessment and evaluation, which turned out to be a great experience as I got to interact with the community. Despite the language barrier, with the support of all staff members, it was easy to manage and communicate with the community. Overall, it was a very rewarding experience and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it.
