CME Session for Medical officers

RICPHI with support from Gokula Education Foundation- Medical, facilitated a Continuing Medical Education program on Cardiovascular and Metabolic diseases for the members of Indian Medical Association, Tiptur Branch (Karnataka) on 17th December 2021, which was attended by over 60 medical doctors from various specilalities. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery, Dr. Girish CM, Associate Professor of Nephrology, and Dr. Manjunath P.R., Assistant Professor, Endocrinology- all from Ramaiah Medical College along with Dr. Ramkumar S., Consultant Cardiologist, Ramaiah Memorial Hospital deliberated on recent updates in their respective branches.
Dr. Shakuntala G, Administrator, Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre gave an overview of the RALC to the participants and invited them to visit the centre, which has the distinction of being India's only cadaveric training and research lab where every possible surgical and medical procedure can be taught in a simulated environment.

Dr. Nayanjeet Chaudhury, Director at RICPHI moderated the event while Mr. Atul Kapoor, Head of Strategy and Business Development explained to the IMA members the intent of the Ramaiah group to establish continuous capacity building of the physicians for seamless and quality medical services delivered to all patients. Mr. Kumar Kothandan, Consultant for Govt Liaison and Stakeholder Management at RICPHI organised the entire event in collaboration with IMA Tiptur.
