Dr. Tapan is a public health professional with graduation in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and a Masters in Public Health Management, with experience in varied disciplines of public health including Maternal and neonatal health, TB, and other Communicable diseases as well as non-communicable disease, with focused work on ACSM and training and capacity building for the past few years. He is also, a Mental Health, Behavioral and social science enthusiast and has joined RICPHI as a Training Expert for the Meghalaya Health Systems Strengthening Project (MHSSP). Based out of Guwahati, Assam, Dr. Tapan has worked with various organizations in the public health space such as JHPIEGO, Piramal Swasthya, Population Services International, and International Union against TB and Lung Disease.
